The Garden Club had it's first workday on Saturday April 10, 2010. It was a great success.  We cleaned up the front entrance and planted 30 Knockout Roses and some flowers.

 

Thanks goes out to all that participated with the manual labor.  We also want to thank everyone who made donations and a big thanks goes to The Powell and Gaddy families for donating the pinestraw.

 

Thanks to the Jackson family for volunteering to fertilize all the plants at the front entrance.

 

We collected $350.00 and as of this date we spent $300.00 on the rose plants.  The rest of the materials were donated.  We will save the excess funds for our next Garden Club project or spend it on maintaining the plants at the Front Entrance
